"Hollow Woman" by Ratandeep Satwant Singh is an abstract painting using oil pastels on paper.
Artist's Note: The abstraction depicts the plight of a woman in the modern society who is incarcerated behind veils of motley social anathemas and the indiscreet dogmas which rule her life. The resulting conflagration burns her everyday. She is too hollow to speak, too charred to display emotions. Her ears like doors are wide open to take in the vehement tirade of the male-dominated society. She is reduced to a mute spectator with no discretion of her own.
