Zombie Art Contest: Win $100

Artists! Want the chance to showcase your work and possibly have your creation grace the cover of the Return of the Dead Men (and Women) Walking anthology? We want to see your zombies! (or undead-themed artwork)

One winner will win $100 and have his or her artwork featured on the cover of the anthology when it is released.

Contest rules:

Send your submissions to us at contest@bardsandsages.com with the subject line: Dead Men Cover Art.

Low-resolution submissions are acceptable for the consideration phase, however if selected as the winner the artist must be able to provide a final high resolution (minimum 300 dpi) image that is at least 6” x 9” in size in jpg, tiff, or png format.

Previously published images are acceptable so long as they have not already been used as cover art.

Your submission should also include your full name, mailing address (outside the U.S. please include your phone number) and a link to your online portfolio if available. Everyone who enters the contest will get a free print copy of the anthology when it is published.

Submissions will be posted to our Facebook and Twitter accounts and we will solicit feedback on the images from our fans. These posts will also include a link to your portfolio if you provided it with the submission.

Deadline for entries is August 25^th.

We will announce the winner on September 1^st.

If selected as the winner, artist will need to confirm that he or she is the creator of the artwork, that the artwork is not a derivative work based off of another party’s intellectual property, and does not use any stock art that the artist does not hold a legal right to license for commercial use. Winning artist grants Bards and Sages an exclusive right to use the image for the cover art of the anthology and for related promotion of the anthology only. All other rights remain with the artist.

This contest is a fun way to promote your work and maybe find something to do with one of those zombie images you created late one night when you thought nobody was looking (yep, we saw you. You can't hide from our kobolds!)
